This nonprofit 501 C 3 was established to honor my daughter's passion to help the homeless. Whitney passed away December 2018 from sepsis but her legacy will continue through this organization.
It was her wish that everyone would be warm, fed, and know the promise of Heaven.
Whitney's Wish bags are distributed to the unhoused when they are discharged from hospital emergency rooms and urgent cares. They are also handed out to those struggling on the streets of Denver.
My beautiful son Tanner passed away October 2023. He was a strong, and compassionate man who made a great impact on this world. Tanner’s caring heart inspired us to expand our mission to Whitney's Wish.
Tanner’s Touch is an outreach that provides new sweatshirts and sweatpants to those with limited resources, treated in hospital Emergency Rooms, and Urgent Cares who need clean or warm clothing when they are discharged.
Financial donations and donations of
supplies to Whitney's Wish provide a
reusable bag filled with:
Warm hats, gloves, scarves, blankets in the winter,
baseball hats, flip flops, sunglasses,
sunscreen in the summer
McDonald's gift card
Socks
Deodorant/Chapstick
Bottled water
Can of Beefaroni/mini ravioli
Cleansing body wipes and soap
Letter of hope to the recipient including the verse
John 3:16 about eternal hope (shown in the picture below)
$3.16 attached to the letter.
